Judy Murray has called Elena Baltacha "a one in a million" after her fellow Scot lost her fight against liver cancer.

The Fed Cup captain and the former British No 1 enjoyed a special bond - and memorably cried together at Wimbledon in 2012 when Baltacha was awarded on Olympic wildcard.

Murray, whose boys Andy and Jamie observed a minute's silence at the Madrid Open yesterday, was too upset to talk about Baltacha yesterday at a HEAD masterclass for junior players in London this morning.

Peter Crouch reckons the inclusion of so many promising youngsters in England's World Cup squad will help take the pressure off Wayne Rooney in Brazil.

The hopes of the nation have rested heavily on Rooney's shoulders at past international tournaments.

But the spotlight has very much been on England's promising youngsters in the build up to Brazil - taking some of the heat off the Manchester United forward.

Crouch, who played in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, said a little less pressure could help the Three Lions' main man this time around.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Skipper Virat Kohli Gets Sourav Ganguly's Guru Mantra

Virat Kohli has scored three zeroes in eight IPL innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season. In his latest match - against Delhi Daredevils, he managed 10 before falling to a run-out.                                  Indian cricket's pin-up boy Virat Kohli is steadily going from hero to zero in the Indian Premier League 2014. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain has so far had a poor run with the bat and shares a dubious distinction with former Indian opener and Kolkata Knight Riders captain, Gautam Gambhir. Both have scored three ducks in the IPL 2014.                                                                                                     While Gambhir is slowly getting back to his form, Kohli has struggled to score. Luck has also not been on his side as he has seemingly been at the wrong end of umpiring blunders. He has scored 154 at an average of 17.11 in 10 innings, way below his lofty standards in limited overs cricket.
